Swaggy and Selena have managed an extended public break. We haven’t seen them together in months. I wouldn’t put it past them to try again one day. Selena may still consider Bieber to be her boyfriend — according to witnesses at Taylor Swift’s 25th birthday party. This is the same shindig attended by Jay-Z and Beyonce. It was a huge party with tons of celebrities at Swifty’s NYC penthouse. Selena was reportedly crying out on the terrace. Us Weekly says she was shouting and throwing a royal fit over missing Swaggy:

While fellow partygoers like Beyonce and Jay Z enjoyed beers, pizza, and sushi and mingled with pals like Justin Timberlake, Gomez, who has dated Bieber on and off for three years now, was reportedly getting emotional over the “Boyfriend” singer.

“She shouted, ‘No one understands me! My boyfriend doesn’t even understand me,” an insider tells Us, adding that bystanders — including guest Sam Smith — “just stared [at her].”

Aside from the dramatic scene, which took place on the upper terrace, the rest of the party was having a “total blast,” another source tells Us.

Other guests at the bash, which was complete with a karaoke machine and kicked off after Swift’s performance at Z100’s Jingle Ball, included Swift’s BFF Karlie Kloss, Kelly Osbourne, 5 Seconds of Summer, HAIM, Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo, Charli XCX, Chrissy Teigen, Shawn Mendes, Ansel Elgort, and Jaime King.

Ugh, I’m embarrassed for Selena, especially since she’s hung up on such a useless dude. So much drama. She made a huge fuss on Taylor’s night. No one knew how to respond to her. Do you think Selena was drunk? When I was in my early 20s, I used to get weepy any time gin entered the picture. (Gin is no longer in my repertoire.) But I think this is standard drama queen stuff rather than a simple case of Selena getting sloppy drunk and acting out of character. She’s simply addicted to the Biebs. He keeps bragging about being single, you know. I hope she gets it together. Another rehab stint or some counseling could help.
