Monica Dogra Shares Swimsuit Photo "Manifesting"

Publish date: 2024-06-18

Monica Dogra is sending positive vibes in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the 40-year-old actress shows off her amazing body in a pink bathing suit while boating. "Manifesting," she captioned the Instagram video with her followers. "Stunning," commented a follower. "Super beautiful," added another. How does the actress keep herself in such amazing shape? Celebwell rounded up her top health and lifestyle habits.

"I turned vegan after watching a documentary about the way that eggs are produced, and also hearing information on the environmental impact of factory-farmed dairy. I had already been vegetarian for years for similar reasons. I recognize it's a process, but it is one that is easier than ever today, and one that should surely be considered by the privileged to help lower impact on the planet and promote the compassionate and mindful lifestyle," Monica told Times of India.

"My workout goals tend to depend on where I am in my life. I go through phases… when I have the time, I enjoy the rigorousness and the discipline of exercise. Lately, I've been busy and travelling, and so I've been in the mood to just be kinder to myself and gentler with my body. So I haven't really exercised properly in quite some time," she told Hindustan Times. "I really enjoy workout classes. I've found coaches who are just beautifully motivating," she added. "When I can't make it to a class, I do basic cardio at the gym on my own."

Monica understands the importance of rest. "I tend to reward myself with sleep. That is actually what my body requires most," she told Hindustan Times. What are the health benefits of sleep? According to the Sleep Foundation, getting enough z's is a mood booster, promotes heart health, regulates blood sugar, improves mental function, restores your immune system, helps relieve stress, and aids in weight loss.

Monica makes adjustments to her diet when she can't get a workout in. "If I am trying to go without exercise, I avoid sugar and wheat, except for maybe a little, once-a-week treat," she said.

Monica understands the importance of self-care. "I also make sure that I get massages as often as I can… sadly it's never often enough," she told Hindustan Times.

Monica doesn't feel guilty about spending money on her health. "I think it's vital to invest in a trainer you feel accountable to – and who is accountable to you. That's such a gift. If that is out of your price range, follow fitness experts on Instagram who are honest about their journey and don't just project a false idea of perfection. I myself have unfollowed a lot of unrealistic beauty queens," she said.
