De Armas loves to do pilates as a way to stay in shape. She even makes time for it when she is extremely busy. She told Vogue in July 2021 that she is keeping up with pilates, even when she is shooting a movie. "I've been going to this beautiful pilates studio very close to my hotel," she says. "It's keeping me sane."
De Armas listed some of her favorite products to Vogue. She says that she likes to use a personal massager to help with her tension and posture. "I hold all of my tension in my shoulders and my legs, and this device is truly incredible. I have two of them: the big one is very intense, and someone has to use it on you; but I also have a mini that I travel with. It's a triangle shape that fits anywhere—in all of my purses—and I bring it with me on the plane, to set, to my trailer. Especially on this movie, there's so much action, and this is great for a warm-up before we start the choreography as it activates everything, and you can use it again to cool down. It's a good complement to Epsom salts and arnica cream as it helps the muscles to relax."
De Armas has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She tells Vogue that she likes to use a Gua Sha tool on her face. "I use a pink quartz gua sha tool all the time, every day. When they're doing my hair in the trailer, I'm doing the gua sha movements on my face."
De Armas makes sure to stay in shape. She tells People that she likes to do a lot of different things to stay in shape. "Exercise also makes me happy, but it has to be fun. I do something different every day — one day boxing, the next spinning or weight training — to not get bored."
De Armas tells Vogue that she loves to practice meditation. She says that this helps with her mental health and wellbeing. "I do meditate. I like it very much. I'm still learning – it's a process! When you start doing it and you're consistent with it, you realise how much it helps with all the things that come up for you." "With regular practice, meditation can also help you gain a deeper awareness of your inner self. There is even some evidence that meditation changes your brain—enlarging areas of brain tissue that help us think and learn… while decreasing areas that cause us stress and anxiety," says Harvard Health.
